India's refusal to issue visas to Pakistan's blind cricket team is regrettable, says Foreign Office
In a statement issued by the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, it was said that it is regrettable that India did not issue visas to the Pakistani blind cricket team.
The spokesperson said that due to the Indian decision, Pakistani players will be deprived of participating in the important sports event. This action of India reflects India's insensitivity to the promotion of sports for persons with disabilities.
He said that there should be no politics on sports events, Pakistan has informed the Indian side about its disappointment.
It should be noted that the Pakistani team was supposed to leave on Sunday to participate in the T20 World Cup. The event will be played in India from December 5 to 17. Restlessness is being found among the players.
