In Lenin's stormy life, he did not have enough time to devote himself to the deep study of art, but he loved the Russian classics and he loved realism in literature, drama and painting. During the first revolution of Russia in 1905, he stayed overnight at the house of a friend who had a large collection of great books from all over the world. The next morning, Lenin said to a friend, "What an impressive thing art history is. What a great collection of books for a Marxist. I could not sleep until morning. I read one book after another. And I regret that I never had time to study art, and never will." Lenin knew Russian and non-Russian literature very well. For him, literature was the best source of knowledge of life. The more complete, comprehensive, deep and comprehensive the book reflected life and the more simple it was, they considered it as correct.
Young comrades and socialists should always remember this saying of the great Lenin. A book is the real jewel of every human being and every human being should be attracted to books, but for Marxists and socialists, the attraction and love of books is very important because it is the study of books that actually becomes the mark of a true Marxist.
