Micro-blogging website Twitter has quietly introduced the 'views' feature, which will now track the number of people who have seen or read each tweet.
Earlier on Twitter, only 'views' feature worked for videos, that is, earlier videos were known about the people who watched them, but now every tweet will be known about who viewed or read it.
Elon Musk announced the introduction of the 'Views' feature in his tweet, after which the feature was turned on on user accounts around the world.
Views' feature appears before the comments icon on every tweet and the 'views' icon shows the number of people who have seen or read the tweet.
Although the above feature shows the number of people who viewed the tweet, it cannot verify how many of the viewers actually read the tweet.
Elon Musk, while announcing the introduction of the said feature, said that usually 90% of people on Twitter read the tweet that comes on their screen but do not like it.
