A total of 2.5 million stone blocks were used, meaning that a block had to be removed every 9 seconds over a period of 20 years, transported hundreds of kilometers, crossed a river, and then lifted and placed in place, day and night without a break!
To reach the top of the pyramid, a slope of about 3 kilometers long had to be built to reach a height of 150 meters so that there would be no obstacle in the construction.
Some current engineers say that this work is not possible even with modern heavy machinery and methods. There is no doubt that a great and advanced engineering was demonstrated in ancient times. This structure is about 5000 years old and still bears witness to its grandeur today.
